How I can help:
For Fiction
Developmental editing -- This is my niche. I can give you an overall assessment concerning the characters, the plot. the conflict(s), and how fit and snug the whole story is formatted. I look at the whole work with an eye for misalignments -- what works and what doesn't.
If you need copy editing (grammar) or line editing (sentence & paragraph structure) as well, I can typically tie in those things.
For nonfiction works
Line editing -- For nonfiction, I pay attention to sentence structure and paragraph structure, assuring that every sentence packs a punch and counts for the message of your work in a cohesive manner.
As with fiction, if you are in need of grammar and developmental help in your nonfiction, I'm happy to assist with your needs.

I have a master's degree in creative writing, and I've published 5 books so far: 4 Bible studies for youth and one historical fiction. I have 3 years' experience in editing. I've also worked with editors on my own writings. Fresh eyes are so worthy!
I'm an author on a pretty tight budget, so in understanding how unrealistic it is to saw off your arm to pay me or any editor, I charge a relatively small amount compared to most editors. I enjoy helping writers format their fiction works, and I equally enjoy helping Christian writers polish the message in their nonfiction works.
Every piece of writing is different and unique, so I don't have a one-size-fits-all approach. I prefer to have a preliminary discussion so we are competently on the same page. (Pun intended!)
