How Does One Foster Truth?

So, How Does One Foster Truth?

Obviously, it worked well having a last name that is also a verb -- Foster. If I was still single, it wouldn't work, because I don't know how you'd Mauldin Truth. But it conveniently has occurred that it's not only who I am, but what I strive to do.

Foster is to nourish, maintain, and cultivate, and as a Christian mother (i.e. - steward of 3 children) who values the Bible, my passion is to foster truth.

Lucky me!

But there's more; fostering truth is steering away from lies that we often adopt from the world, from our own pride, or from the enemy. The Bible is wholly true. Jesus prayed, "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth" (John 17:17). Repeatedly, God teaches us to live a life of truth. As the church, we encourage one another in truth. As a believer in Christ, I humbly foster truth.

I have also fostered quite a number of resources over 22 years of motherhood, 11 years of homeschooling, 6 years of teaching high school, 10 years (& running) as a discipleship group leader, 12 years as a writer and published author, and decades as a Christ follower. I'm giving all the Lord guides me to give: articles on parenting, education, Christian topics, book giveaways, devotionals, and so on.

I initially did not like the idea of a newsletter, but I do appreciate how it holds me accountable to serve others with consistency. So, I'm committed to give time-worthy emails -- biblical guidance and encouragement, promos, free downloads, discounts, services, news, or free books and other gear on a bi-weekly basis.

If you'd like to be a guest blogger, or if you'd be so kind to invite me to yours, email me at fosteringtruth@outlook.com.

If you need editing services, email me with the subject "Editor Query" for more information.

Thanks for stopping by.

A million blessings,

Katy Foster
